I got this picture from 9news.com. I was drawn to it. I guess it represents how I've been feeling lately. See when lots of change happens all at once, your emotions forget to work how they are supposed to. My new promotion is fantastic. It's challenging and it's promising. But that stage where you know nothing and have to learn everything is stressful. I'm no longer working the wondrous 40 hour week that few professionals get away with. And that's totally okay. Just change. Trying to come to terms with other changes. Trying to be the person I should be while wanting to be someone else. Spurts in the weather, hot then cold and ugly cold no less. Trying to fight feelings that never leave. Feelings that have almost become the norm because they are so familiar.

Went rock climbing again last night with Leslie. It's such a great feeling, I'm so glad we are doing it. It's really nice to catch up with Leslie too. We have been friends since 6th grade and it's like we haven't missed a beat. Thanks Les, I'm really happy we've reconnected. So what else? Got a "SAVE THE DATE" for Ms. Hofmeister's wedding. I'm so happy for her and I'm really looking forward to seeing good friends from college in December.
