Chanchitos

I am a firm believer in fate, in the way things just happen cause they are supposed to.  Tonight I exchanged Christmas gifts with a dear friend.  She got me a "Chanchito."  It was an extremely thoughtful gift and the amazing part?  I saw this in a store in Breck last weekend and I almost bought it for myself.  But when I read the little blurb about the little pig, I thought I shouldn't buy that for myself, it's selfish.  I just feel like I need a little good luck in my life.

Chanchitos: "It is believed, in Pomaire, Chile, that chanchitos (little pigs) bring good luck.  Three legged pigs are considered especially fortunate and are traditionally given to friends as tokens of goodwill and love."
