Fall's already here and it's only September. What a winter it's going to be...
You know I have to give ABC kudos for choosing two great songs to portray their Thursday night line up. "How to save a life" by the Fray and "Streetcorner Symphony" by Rob Thomas. I can't hear enough of these songs.
Deep thoughts for the week. I think as people, especially as single people, we waste too much time on things that are not important. I think we waste time with games not only in relationships but with work, with family and with friends. I suppose as an adult (no longer registered as a college student) it does get a lot better in reference to what we waste our time on. The games are not as frequent and the relationships with friends and family and whoever are more meaningful. Time spent with people and doing things becomes much more important. What would you rather be doing with your time? If you were to die tomorrow were you doing what you wanted to be doing? Okay yeah not everyone likes work everyday but that's part of life, and not everyone likes the situation they may be in or the situation their not in. But that's not what I'm talking about. I spent some time this weekend with my family. If I had it my way, I would see them every weekend. Maybe I'm just a family girl. Anyways. Wish me luck in New Jersey this week, presenation time!
Side note: Chivalry isn't dead. Who knew.
"Come on over. Down to the corner, My sisters and my brothers of every different color, Can't you feel that sunshine telling you to hold tight, Things will be alright
Try to find a better life, Come on over, Down to the corner, My sisters and my brothers there for one another, Come on over, Man I know you wanna let yourself go"
Streetcorner Symphony, Rob Thomas
